Decisions related to Corpus and maintenance payments 8 Jan 2012

The following decisions were made in the meeting on 08 Jan 2012 other than the election and selection of the General body members.

Maintenance collections:

1. Send notice to all defaulters.
   
2. Look at amending the bye-law which provides the apartment management authorization to take action on defaulters if needed.
3. Get an undertaking from each apartment owner.
4. Consult with plumbing and electrical technicians about cutting the water supply and electricity for defaulters.

Corpus fund:

1. The general body decided to not going back and dropping the corpus fund and refund it, instead work with the those who have not paid so far to pay it.
2. Levy an additional fee for those who go beyond the One year deadline.
3. Corpus fund collection (all 3 installments) shall be paid before Jan 31,2012.
4. The last two installments of the corpus fund is going to be used to get Cauvery water to the building. (deadline Feb 15,2012) If not the money will not get the desired result and we may not get Cauvery water until 2013 spending a lot on water charges.
