Computerization of Eldorado records

We are seeking  approval for around Rs.3,000 for a monitor and around Rs.10,000 for an all in one printer/Scanner and for one time cost for a low cost broadband connection.

We are also seeking approval for a recurring cost of around Rs.600 per month for getting a broadband internet connection from Airtel and Rs.300 for power for the computer.
I (Ranga - G12)  am donating my old computer for this purpose which is a good enough Pentium 4 machine with 2GB RAM and 80GB HDD which I am using till today at my home.

The plan is to host all of our Complaint records, Water records, FInancial records , copies of bills, receipts , on Google docs or Dropbox or box.net and also create a "eldorado-complaints@gmail.com" email address to register a complaint by email and maintain the status of all information online.

The Manual complaints book will also be available for those who want to register complaints on the complaints book.

Update on Apr 21 2012


With no feedback from any of our Eldorado members who check their emails regularly, we assume that no one is objecting to this proposal and you are ok to spend the necessary one time and recurring costs.


We will wait for another week for any comments or feedback and go ahead with implementing this plan.

We hope no feedback is good. 

We will be getting funds from Sailendra/Franklin/Vinodkumar to implement this in the next few days. We will first start with purchasing the monitor and then ordering the Internet connection.
